Job Description

Open Loop Energy is a leading company in the Hydraulic repair and heavy equipment parts service industry, specializing in the production and distribution of industry leading solutions and repairs. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated Warehouse Lead to join our team. This role would be supporting our Supply Chain Department and our overall operations in various duties.

Responsibilities of this Role

· Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing products, materials, and equipment.

· Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimize productivity, minimize errors, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

· Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation to foster a positive and productive work environment.

· Coordinate with other departments, such as production and logistics, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular inventory audits to reconcile stock levels and identify any discrepancies or shortages.

· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards within the warehouse, including proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.

· Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

· Collaborate with procurement and purchasing teams to manage supplier relationships and ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and supplies.

· Assist in the development and implementation of warehouse-related policies, procedures, and initiatives to align with company goals and objectives.

Full time position working in a warehouse environment Monday through Friday shifts vary slightly and could include start times between 5:00 and 7:00 am. Skills and Qualifications

· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

· Proven experience (at least 3 years) in warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and team supervision.

· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team

· Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail

· Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory tracking software, and other relevant tools to optimize warehouse processes.

· Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehousing

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to collaborate with others

· Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.

 

Education and Experience Requirements

Previous inventory control experience

· A valid driver’s license required must pass driving record report for company vehicle operation

· Ability to move or lift up to 50 lbs also walk, stand, or kneel, for extended periods of time

· Computer skills and experience with software programs including inventory management,
