1992
Chuck & Jackie Hoisington started Open Loop Energy in Safford, Arizona
1998
New facility opened in Winnemucca, Nevada
2009
Acquired Nichols Machine Shop — added industrial chrome capabilities
2013
Branch opened in Lehi, Utah (later moved to Cedar Fort)
2016
Acquired San Juan Spring Company — Farmington, New Mexico
2018
Chuck sold Open Loop Energy to his four sons
2019
Acquired Martin Rubber (CA) — relocated to Willcox, AZ
What We Do
Open Loop Energy is a full-service hydraulic repair company with intimate knowledge of hydraulic mining components and support equipment. We specialize in the repair, overhaul, and testing of hydraulic cylinders, haul truck suspensions, pumps, motors, valves, hydraulic jacks up to 250 tons along with fabricating custom hydraulic power units and oil filtration assemblies.
